A garbage disposal that hums but does not turn is usually jammed, not dead, and that is a two-minute fix with a hex key from underneath. One that trips the breaker or leaks from the body is done, and a replacement is under an hour including getting the old one off the flange.
Same with the rest of it. A dripping faucet is a cartridge. A toilet running all night is a flapper or a fill valve, and it is quietly adding to your water bill the whole time. None of these are worth a plumber's call-out, which is exactly why they sit for months.

Anything behind a wall, in a slab, or on a gas line is not this job and I will say so on the spot instead of opening something I should not. Sending you to the right trade costs me a job and saves you a much bigger one.

Straight answers
- My disposal just hums. Is it dead?
- Almost never. That sound is the motor stalled against something. It usually frees off from underneath in a couple of minutes, and if it does not, you will know for certain instead of guessing.
- How fast can you replace a disposal?
- Under an hour in most kitchens, including getting the old one down off the sink flange. Send me a photo of what is under the sink now and I will tell you what it needs.
- Can you find a leak I cannot see?
- If it shows at a fixture or in a cabinet, yes. If the water is coming through a ceiling from somewhere unknown, that is a leak-detection job and I will tell you that first.
