Historic District trim work and Empire Ranch settlement cracks aren't the same job.
Folsom is genuinely split. Around Sutter Street and the Historic District you have restored Victorians and mid-century ranch houses with real wood trim, real doors and windows that were made before anything was standardised.
Then there's Empire Ranch and Natoma Station — early-2000s builds with the stucco and fence issues common to that era.

What comes up here
On the older Folsom houses the trim profiles don't exist at a big-box store. Ripping it out and putting modern casing in is the fast answer and the wrong one. Matching an existing profile, or repairing the original piece, keeps the house looking like itself.
A hundred-year-old house has moved. The door opening isn't a rectangle anymore, so a factory pre-hung door won't simply drop in. Fitting the door to the opening that actually exists is most of the work and it is why these jobs take longer than the newer ones.
Properties backing onto the American River Parkway see more moisture and more wildlife traffic against the fence line. Posts at the soil line go first. Catching that early is the difference between resetting two posts and rebuilding a run.
